Meet Hazel
I’m Hazel Bloom, a transgender lesbian (she/her) originally from New Zealand but now living in Washington state. As a coach, I understand the heights of trans joy and gender euphoria, along with the lows of gender dysphoria. I’ve done the hard work on making peace between the dichotomy of society’s pressure to fit into a specific ideal to ‘pass’, and the need to be my authentic self regardless of what people may think of me. I am all about loving ourselves, finding what our gender, sexuality and identity mean for us, and then figuring out how we want to present that to the world. These are universal skills that can benefit anyone.
Political forces want us to be scared and hide. Thriving and being visible is the ultimate revolution.
After discovering my binary transgender identity in my thirties while in a cis-straight-passing marriage, I embarked on a difficult yet fulfilling journey of coming out in my personal and professional life - to mixed success. Embracing my authentic self has been incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about guiding others on their own paths to radical self-love.
As a certified Life Coach from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, I aim to help others realize who they truly are and how to live authentically as themselves. While I have the lived experience of being a trans woman, I can help anyone who considers themselves a part of the LGBTQIA+ community or their allies. While I am based in Washington, I am able to assist clients all over the world!
Coaching can look very different depending on your needs - for some it looks like ongoing work through past traumas to work towards a brighter future, for others it may be a few sessions to get unstuck and figure out how to tackle a goal together. Whatever you need, I am happy to hold space for you and help you thrive.
Now that you know a bit about me, my question is: “Who are You?”. What I can do is use my expertise as a coach to help you in figuring out that answer for yourself.
You are not alone. You can do this.
Let me help.
